Meet Darian and Amy (Best. Photographers. Ever.)

For Darian and Amy, photography and videography is not about the camera, it’s about capturing the authentic quality of a relationship, it’s about using a camera to reveal love.

The Daring Ones Photography emerged from their own authentic (and romantic) relationship.

Growing up in Miami, Darian developed a passion for creating movies. As a homeschooler his schedule was flexible and he could devote time and energy to honing his skills in photography and videography.

At the same time, 3,000 miles north, in Quebec, Canada, Amy, also a homeschooler, developed a passion for travel, music festivals, and for retelling these adventures visually, using her camera.

Amy’s cousin introduced her to Darian and, at 14yrs old they started dating l o o o o n g distance. Their relationship lasted 8 months.

Two years later they rekindled their flame after they realized that no other romantic relationship even came close. Two more years and, as a couple, they decided to move to Redding. At 19 yrs. Old they got married, and at 20 had their first child, Ezra.

Darian and Amy genuinely care for people and discovered they could use their craft of visual storytelling to help couples capture their most precious moments through photographs and video. Their journey of overcoming distance and time to achieve a beautiful marriage uniquely qualifies Darian and Amy to help other couples tell their wedding day stories.

The Daring Ones is now growing and I’ve had the privilege of using their services in my Real Estate business. You’ve seen the walk-through videos they’ve shot of homes I’ve sold, and now they’re shooting promotional videos of local businesses we love.
