But when you know their backstory it all makes sense…and it’s rather romantic!

Visit Shasta County’s farmer’s markets you’ll see two vendors who are regulars, For the Love of Pie, and Nathan’s Sourdough Bread. Over the years Adrienne (For the Love of Pie) and Nathan became acquainted as they sold their baked goods next to each other. They got to talking and realized they have shared values: excellence in baking and love for their community. Those values sparked and ignited a fire of romance.

They wed on January 1st, 2021 and soon after merged their businesses. For the Love of Pie + Nathan’s Sourdough Bread = When Pie Meets Bread.

They just celebrated the grand opening of their bakery oat 1768 Churn Creek Rd, Redding.
